Ryan laughed softly, squeezing RJ’s hands in his own as he returned the kiss gently. He’d missed his boyfriend and he still hated that they never got to see each other.

“Yes, a regular knight in tattered armor,” he stated before pulling his hands away from RJ’s to pull the boy’s chair out from the table and tug the boy up. “We’re getting coffee and dessert,” he said firmly. The two things seemed to fix everything. “Now,” he added with a firm nod of his head.

RJ laughed as he let Ryan pull him to his feet. He wrapped his arms around Ryan’s waist before he laid a kiss to his boyfriend’s neck. “Yes sir!” He said mock saluting with a grin. “Lead the way.” He moved to bury his face in Ryan’s neck inhaling his boyfriend’s scent.

Ryan laughed quietly as RJ saluted him, rolling his eyes at the action. “You’re a dork,” he said, though he smiled brightly through those words. “Off we go!” He exclaimed, earning them a stare from the librarian, but he didn’t care because he had his boyfriend wrapped around him and they were off for a date.

He led the way out of the library and out the main doors into the courtyard. “So, Starbucks or the cafe? The cafe has more desserts,” he said, figuring that that was a crucial decision point right there, “but less coffee to choose from,” he added; another crucial point.

He snuck in quietly, holding one finger up to his lips to keep the boys who noticed him from saying anything. Sneaking up behind RJ, he quickly placed his hands over his boyfriend’s eyes and leaned down next to RJ’s ear. “No more studying,” he stated in a whispered tone.
